The Sri Lanka National Center of ABCP (Late Ven. Wipulasara Chapter) led by the Center’s President Ven. Dr. Maitipe Wimalasara Mahathero, in collaboration with the Department of Post, Sri Lanka, had issued a commemorative stamp and first-day cover to commemorate the 50th anniversary and the 11th General Assembly of the Asian Buddhists Conference for Peace, which were celebrated and organised in 2019. The stamps portray the first and the incumbent Presidents of ABCP Most Ven. Samaagiin Gombusren (ABCP’s fouиder and its first President) and Most Ven. Demberel Choijamts, who is the serving ABCP President and was the 29th Nomun Khan, Khambol Lama of Gandan Tegchenling Monastery – the Center of Mongolian Buddhists.
