“Durvud Khuree Monastery: History and Culture” conference

Gandan Tegchenling Monastery the Center of Mongolian Buddhists, the Dilowa Khutagtu Foundation and the Dechenravjaalin Monastery jointly organized an academic conference “Durvud Khuree Monastery: History and Culture” in Battsagaan Tsogchen Temple on 6 November 2022.

Gabju Choijamts Demberel, Khamba Nomun Khan of Gandan Tegchening Monastery the Center of Mongolian Buddhists and the President of the Asian Buddhists Conference for Peace, inaugurated the conference with a speech. 

Da Lama Kh.Byambajav, ABCP Secretary General, made a presentation on the theme of Mongol script of Durvud Khuree and other Mongolian and international scholars made presentations on the themes such as Buddhism among the Kalmyks, Gushi Khaan, Dechenravjaalin Monastery and religion and culture of the Durvud.
