Message of Condolences

I am deeply saddened to learn that 151 precious lives were lost and many more were injured during the tragic accident – festivity crowd crush in Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea on 30 October 2022.

On behalf of the entire monk community of Gandan Tegchenling Monastery – the Center of Mongolian Buddhists and myself, I express my deepest condolence to the People of South Korea over this tragedy.

We, Mongolian Buddhist monks, are praying for all those who have lost their previous lives untimely and dedicate our chants to them.

By the blessings of the Three Jewels, may these deceased ones swiftly obtain human births among their families and in their mother countr.!
