Message of Condolences

I am deeply saddened to learn that 134 precious lives were lost and many more were injured during the tragic accident – collapse of a bridge in the town of Morbi, Gujarat State, Republic of India on 31 October 2022.

On behalf of the entire monk community of Gandan Tegchenling Monastery – the Centre of Mongolian Buddhists and myself, I express my deepest condolence to the people of the Republic of India over this tragedy.

We, Mongolian Buddhist monks, are praying for all those who lost their previous lives untimely and dedicate our chant to them.

By the blessings of the Three Jewels, may these deceased swiftly obtain human birth among their families and in their mother country!
