An Indian Buddhist delegation at ABCP Headquarters

A Buddhist delegation from India paid a visit to Mongolia from 14 to 26 June, 2022.

The delegation was led by the 20th Bakula Rinpoche and included ABCP Vice President Most Ven. Jangchup Choeden and other members.

The main agenda of the visit was to bring the Holy Buddha Relics from India to Mongolia, which gave the opportunity to Mongolian devotees to pay obeisance to the Holy Buddha Relics.

The members of the delegation were warmly welcomed by the ABCP President Khamba Nomun Khan Choijamts Demberel and ABCP Secretary General Da Lama Kh. Byambajav, who had a friendly discussion with the Indian Buddhists. They discussed matters related to the next regular 12th General Assembly of ABCP, which is planned to be held in New Delhi and Bodhgaya in India.

The delegation expressed feelings of deep appreciation and gratitude to Mongolian Buddhists and the ABCP Headquarters for the warm hospitality extended to them during their stay in Mongolia.

The visit of the Indian friends in the Dharma demonstrated that fraternal links between the Buddhists of the two countries are successfully developing for their common benefit and in accordance with the principles of the Dharma, for the sake of peace and tranquility throughout the world.
