Buddhist delegation from India paid a visit to Mongolia from 14 to 26 June, 2022.
The
delegation was led by the 20th Bakula Rinpoche and included ABCP
Vice President Most Ven. Jangchup Choeden and other members.
The
main agenda of the visit was to bring the Holy Buddha Relics from India to
Mongolia, which gave the opportunity to Mongolian devotees to pay obeisance to
the Holy Buddha Relics.
The
members of the delegation were warmly welcomed by the ABCP President Khamba
Nomun Khan Choijamts Demberel and ABCP Secretary General Da Lama Kh. Byambajav,
who had a friendly discussion with the Indian Buddhists. They discussed matters
related to the next regular 12th General Assembly of ABCP, which is
planned to be held in New Delhi and Bodhgaya in India.
The
delegation expressed feelings of deep appreciation and gratitude to Mongolian
Buddhists and the ABCP Headquarters for the warm hospitality extended to them
during their stay in Mongolia.
The
visit of the Indian friends in the Dharma demonstrated that fraternal links
between the Buddhists of the two countries are successfully developing for
their common benefit and in accordance with the principles of the Dharma, for
