ABCP President Gabju Demberel Choijamts

Gabju D. Choijamts served as the Chief Khambo of Gandan Tegchenling Monastery – the Center of Mongolian Buddhists from 20 October 1992 to 15 October 2023 and on 14 June 2021 he was given the title of XXIX Khambo Nomun Khan by the Mongoilan President Khaltmaagiin Battulag.

1970-1976, University of Mongolian Buddhism (currently Zanabazar Buddhist University), Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

1983-1986, Buddhist Philosophy at the University of Buddhist Dialectics, Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh, India

1986-1990, Vice-Khambo (Abbot) of Gandan Tegchenling Monastery, the Center of Mongolian Buddhists

1990-1993, Member of Parliament of Mongolia

1991-1992, Da Lama (Third Ranking Lama of Mongolian Buddhists) of Gandan Tegchenling Monastery, the Center of Mongolian Buddhists

Since 1992, Chief Khambo of Gandan Tegchenling Monastery – the Center Mongolian Buddhists.
