The world, including the Asian Buddhists and their voluntary organization, the Asian Buddhists Conference for Peace, welcomed the news about the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, as the war between them almost led to sever human catastrophe in Gaza.
ABCP hopes that the ceasefire, accomplished diplomatically, will serve as an example for ending armed conflicts in various parts of the world, as peace alone can guarantee the growth and development of nations around the world.
